- Court5 teams per court. Only the King's side scores.
- ScoringWin a rally on the King's side: 1 point, stay on. Win as a challenger: take the King's side (no point). Lose on the King's side: back of the challenger line.
- ServingEither player can serve. Miss your serve and your team is off, next team in. One serve re-do per team per round.
- Rounds5 qualifying rounds, 12-15 minutes each. Everyone plays all 5, no eliminations. Top 5 by total points advance to the final.
- FinalThe final round decides placing on its own. Qualifying points don't carry over (except small fields, below).
- Small fieldWith fewer than 8 teams, a team earns 1 bonus point for each qualifying round it wins and starts the final round with that many points. Tracked automatically in the live scoring.
- Tied finalIf two teams are tied with the same number of points at the end of the final round, there's a bonus 3 minutes. All teams in the final play, but only the two teams tied for first can win.
